79th Independence day was celebrated in SDM Institute of Ayurveda and Hospital campus. Dr Bharathi, Professor and head, Department of Shalya Tantra, hoisted the flag followed by Independence day speech from 2nd year student Adil Ahmed. All the teaching and non teaching staff and students graced the event.

The Department of Kaumarabhritya at SDM Institute of Ayurveda and Hospital, Bengaluru, organized a Breastfeeding Week Symposium on August 4, 2025. NSS unit SDMIAH in collaboration with the department of PTSR, Kaumarabhritya and Shalakya tantra conducted Health checkup camp in Shree Gurugnana Kendra Vidyalaya, Pancha Ganapathi temple premises Anchepalya on 30/07/25. Total 120 students health check up was done. Camp was attended - Dr. Anusha  Dr. Shrilaxmi. Dr. Sushobhitha Mr. Mahesh Prabhakar Hegde (NSS Officer) 7 PG's and 2 Internee.

NSS unit SDMIAH in collaboration with department of PTSR and Kaumarabhritya, conducted Health checkup camp in Shubham Karoti Maitreya Gurkul School, Ramuhalli on 16/07/25. In total 113 students health check up was done.The camp was attended by-Dr. Priyanka H.S.Dr. Shreya ChamaMr. Mahesh Prabhakar Hegde (NSS programme Officer)PG's and Internes2 NSS Volunteers from II BAMS 2023-24 batch.

The camp was organized on the occasion of World Blood Donor Day on 14.06.2025 by NSS unit, dept of Shalya Tantra, department of Prasuti Tantra and Stree Roga and student council 2025. The event was smoothly conducted under the guidance and support of Rashtrotthana Blood Centre, Bengaluru.
